Brandon Dorow Sr.5 StarMike Dodd with American Water Damage has be a very professional, very knowledgeable and a great person. He first explained to my wife and I how everything works and he’s been right on target so far. Jesse and Omar with the demo crew was also great to work with and great personalities. They cleaned up at the end of every day. So far our experience with them has been great. We would highly recommend them for any restoration needs!
Looking forward to the rebuild proses.Wednesday 17th April 2024
Alida Rodarte5 StarI had water damage in my home. My water heater broke and started leaking water all over the house was able to get a plumber to my house. Plummer recommended American Water Damage out of Stafford. The company did an amazing job. Everything at the plumber said that they would do for me, would not use any other company for water or mold. Would 100% recommend them outstanding.Saturday 16th September 2023
Tammy Welch5 StarMy elderly mother had a water leak the week before she had a major surgery. American Water Damage of Houston did an amazing job of remediation and repair!! I live several states away and managed the entire process over the phone- I could never have gotten this done without the professional team they have….and their contractors are top notch. Never once did I call and not have a person answer!! Michiel, Matthew and Stephanie did a fantastic job….i hope we never have another issue like this, but if we do, I’ll call American Water Damage!Friday 12th January 2024

Kristi Bennett1 StarBeware of this company. They have a rating of "F" with the BBB!!!!!!! Everything started out great. Mike came out to access damage from a water leak in my home. He was quick and friendly and very responsive. Got quotes and worked with my insurance. The water mitigation part of the work was fine. The issues really started with the rebuild/repair work. The "contractors" that American water damage used were terrible. They would not show up, took a while to complete the work and were extremely sloppy while working in my home. After the work was "done" we got them to come back because we had flooring cut too short, horrible painting and other issues. Then they came back to "fix" it and some of the items were slightly better, but overall a really horrible job. This repair was over $13,000. This was not cheap. I work in the construction field and I would be so embarrassed of this work if I were AWD. I reached out to Stephanie at the office. She was very understanding and asked me to text photos, which I did. She said that Mike Dodd would give me a call. I never got a call (for three days), so I reached back out on Monday and she said she was sorry but she would reach out to him again. I have text, called, emailed and no one will call me back or respond to me. This company is taking advantage of people and their insurance company. I would give -10 stars if it were possible on here. Run as far away as you can. Stephanie, Leslie, and even Mike were very pleasant to work with until there were issues. Photos are of the finished job. There is still a hole in the tile at the shower head that they just left, where water can get in behind the new tile. The caulk and grout is all over the tile they replaced and the painting is horrible. They also chipped the bathtub and refused to fix it. We have photos to show the drying out process and there were no chips there at that point but the "contractors" refused to fix it and said they did not do it. I am so disappointed in this and this has been a huge inconvenience for me and my family. I now have to hire someone to come back in and correct their shoddy work. This is so unfair and no one will even respond to me at American Water Damage.Thursday 27th July 2023
